The Reed Middle School boys soccer team had a very successful season finishing with a record of 16 wins, 2 ties and only 2 losses. The team hosted an end of the season tournament consisting of Notre Dame, Southeast Ravenna, and St. Joe's. The RMS team won the championship game by beating Southeast 2-1. Coach Reinard stated, "All the players worked as hard as they could up to the final whistle of the season,. Without each member playing their part, we would not have been so successful." Congratulations!

The Irish Brigade in the Civil War

Tuesday, Jan. 8, the Mercer County Historical Society will present a program on the Irish Brigade in the American Civil War and how the Irish soldiers changed the view of America toward the Irish people in the Reconstitution era.
Bill Philson will facilitate the discussion. The doors open at 6:30 p.m. the program starts at
7 p.m. and should end around 9 p.m. Please join them.

A night at the races

The Hubbard Cheerleading Booster Club is sponsoring "A Night At The Races" at the St. Patrick's Church Hall, Hubbard Jan. 26, starting at 6:30 p.m. with races starting at 7 p.m. The cost of admission is $5 per person. The price includes all food items coffee, pop draft beer, and wine. There will be a 50/50 raffle, lottery tree raffle, silent auction in addition to the races. Proceeds support you Hubbard Cheerleaders Grades 7-12.
