Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center, a ministry of the Sisters of the Humility of Mary, is offering the following programs and services in January 2008 Villa Maria Education and Spirituality Center is located on the grounds of the Villa Maria Community Center and offers a wide variety of retreats, workshops and educational programs.
Coffee and Contemplation Series: Our Call to Discipleship in Matthew's Gospel will be Tuesday, Jan. 8 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Villa Maria Community Center by Ardath Blake, HM. As we enter the season of Ordinary Time, we will consider the invitation to discipleship which Jesus extends to us in the fourth and fifth chapters of Matthew's Gospel. Cost to attend program is $5. Cost to attend program and lunch is $11.75. Advanced registration was required by Dec. 20. Global Meditation Series: Introduction to Meditation Saturday, Jan. 12 from 10 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Villa Maria Community Center by Kathy Gracenin is on the staff of the Claritas Institute for Inter-spiritual Inquiry, and presents national workshops and retreats in movement, music and meditation. The Trumbull Soil and Water Conservation District ( SWCD ) Annual Reorganization meeting will occur Friday Jan. 18 at noon. The meeting will occur in the Trumbull County Commissioners Conference Room located on the fifth floor of the County Administration Building.
This special meeting purposes are: 1) The election of the 2008 officers of the SWCD Board of Supervisors.
2) To set the monthly regular meeting day, time, and location for the 2008 year.
3) To appoint a member of the SWCD board to serve on the SWCD nominations committee for 2008. 
4) To set the parliamentary procedures for the year.
5) To conduct the standard business agenda of a regular monthly meeting.
