The Review Newspapers is in its fifteenth year. It's hard to believe it has been providing positive, local community news for this long. There have been many changes and improvements along the way. We printed the papers with our own press until late 2006. At that time we hired a professional outside printer. Our color became very clear and in register (that means you can actually see the picture and the color) and also the black print became very clear. Last year, we went to three zones as we continued to serve Trumbull and Mahoning Counties as well as the Greater Shenango Valley. This has been our target area since the birth of The Review Newspapers, as I believe this area is the heart of the Mahoning Valley. When The Review Newspapers premiered in October of 1995, most of the local community papers had left town, gone out of business or started charging per edition. The Review Newspapers believes that you should not pay for community news, it should be FREE, just like news on the TV or radio. The Review Newspapers was one of the first, if not the first, local publication to put its newspaper on the web. Our paper has been online at TheReviewNewspapers.com since 1997, where we archive copies online going back one year. Many people now simply go online to read The Review Newspapers. This is to the advertisers benefit, because the readers still see their ad both online and in print. This is important because advertisers provide the resources required to publish the paper. A good local community newspaper cares about its readers as well as small businesses, and is a vital part in the community. As we began in 1995, the internet was just starting and computers were becoming more common. This changed the world; Google News, Yahoo News, I-Phones and various web sites are now bringing major news stories to a global audience. This has caused others to duplicate our local business objective, yet The Review Newspapers continues to be the leader in community news. Some newspapers are still delivered to every home. This sounds great, but at a time when all are concerned about our environment, this may not be the GREEN thing to do. Now at a time when newspapers across this great land of ours are filing bankruptcy and closing at an alarming rate, The Review Newspapers will continue to lead the way in taking your reading experience to a new level. Keep watching, great changes are on the horizon. John Kroner, Publisher

STEVENSON INN AND RESAURANT A RETIRED TEACHER CONVERTS FORMER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL INTO RESTAURANT/INN BY MO HEJAZI
A retired social studies teacher is back in the classroom, but this time as a restaurant in what used to be an elementary school. Mo Hejazi bought the former Stevenson Elementary School in Masury early in 2008 and open his restaurant this past August. Retired from the Greenville school system at 35 years, he wanted to try something different, he likes a challenge! This seemed like the perfect opportunity for this people oriented man to continue to interact with members of the community. In a kitchen which once served youngsters tater tots and mystery meat they are now preparing everything from prime rib to hummus. In what were once 12 classrooms eventually there will be twelve suites for the Inn but not until everything is ready! Stevenson Inn and Restaurant features a full menu including beef, steak, prime rib, ham, pork and chicken in addition to Italian and Middle Eastern Food. A full pizza menu can also be enjoyed either at the restaurant or delivered to office or home. Also there is a full bar and the Saturday night entertainment is phenomenal for the area! Hejazi said they are "...just hoping to offer a little bit of variety to our local diners. We're hoping to serve anybody who doesn't wish to take a long drive. They can get the best food and best service at reasonable prices. And we have the best entertainment in the area! Winter hours for the restaurant are open for lunch and dinner Tuesday-Saturday 11 a.m.-10 p.m. and have evening entertainment every Saturday.
