Don't Just Go Through
Divorce-GROW Through It

A Divorce Recovery Workshop for everyone who is divorced or separated, regardless of religious faith or church affiliation, will be conducted at North-Mar Church in Warren, on eight consecutive Monday nights from March 24-May 12.
The Workshop is modeled after a highly successful Workshop in California that has benefited more than 13,000 people! The Workshop runs from 7-9 p.m. each Monday. The Workshop fee is $30 with pre-registration by March 17. Each participant will receive a copy of the popular and practical book, Growing through Divorce, the study guide for the Workshop.
In Trumbull County, more than 2,500 people experience the devastation of divorce each year, representing an annual average of 65 to 80 divorces for every 100 marriages! Thousands of others in our community (i.e., children, parents, friends, etc.) are deeply affected by divorce, thereby elevating the tragedy from personal to the community at large.
Recovery from the divorce experience requires dealing with deep and very specific needs in order to restore the fullness and joy of life. "You can GO through a divorce, or you can GROW through it" says Jim Smoke, author of Growing through Divorce. No matter how close or how distant the divorce experience is for a person, the Workshop presentations, coupled with the mutual support and understanding of others dealing with similar issues, will be tremendously helpful in making one of life's most difficult adjustments. The Workshop was recently expanded to include local professionals who will address the following topics-"The Legal and Financial Issues of Divorce" and "How to Manage Your Money". Don't let childcare issues stop you from benefiting from this Workshop. Childcare will be provided at no charge.
For additional information or to register, call the church office at 330-856-3496 or visit the Workshop website at
www.northmarchurch.com/divorcerecovery.cfm.
