Congratulations to all kindergarten students of Villa Maria Teresa School who participated in the 32nd Annual AATI Language Contest sponsored by the Greater Youngstown Chapter. The contest was held on Saturday, March 15th in Beeghley Hall on the Campus of Youngstown State University. The day at Youngstown University was very exciting and rewarding. After all of the participants received their awards form the Italian Assembly, the Villa Maria Teresa student recited their poem and sang "Lo Sai Che I Papaveri and Alla Fiera Di Mastra' Andre" to family. The Parents and teachers were very proud of their accomplishments. Sister Vittoria has been teaching the kindergarten children Italian throughout the school year. Her pronunciation is superb, and the children learned very well form her. It is evident in the winners above.
