Communities receive grant funds for scrap tire collections

The Geauga-Trumbull Solid Waste Management District has awarded $69,801 to cities, townships and villages in Trumbull County to implement localized scrap tire collection programs.
The purpose of the scrap tire grant program is to financially assist all the 56 political subdivisions within the District so that they can implement tire collections in their community.
