Spaghetti Dinner Benefit

There will be a spaghetti dinner Sunday April 20 at St. Patrick's Church Hall from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Donation: $6 per person. Tickets are available through the Lion Club's President, Jason Takash, Robin Takash who can be reached at 330 534-4308 or by calling Gary or Beede Chick at 330 534-8672. Tickets will also be available at the door. Delivery to shut ins by calling 330-534-4219 from noon-2 p.m. the day of the benefit.

Jordan Beil CD Release Party

His Music Connection will host Jordan Beil for the release of his new CD "the way you move me" Also performing at this event will be "Witness". The coffee house concert will take place on April 19 at the old Wellman theater located at 29 W. Liberty street in Girard, OH. Time is from 6-10 p.m.

Sidewalk sale at First United Methodist Church

The First United Methodist Church in Sharon, Pa. will be having a huge sidewalk sale Thursday, April 24 noon-3 p.m., Friday, April 25 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and Saturday, April 26 from 9 a.m.-noon. Saturday is all you can put in a brown grocery bag for $1.

Hubbard Park and Recreation regular meeting

The Hubbard Park and Recreation board will hold their regular monthly meeting on April 10 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Administration Building. All meeting are open to the public.

Hubbard High garage sale

Cleaning out your garage or basement after a long, hard winter? Donate your sellable items for the Hubbard High School Marching Band's Garage Sale, to be held at the High School Cafeteria on Saturday and Sunday, April 26 and April 27, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. details to follow. Mad Hatter Tea Party

The Hubbard Public Library Children's Room will offer a Family Night program, Mad Hatter Tea Party,  Monday April 14 at 6:30 p.m. Children of all ages accompanied by an adult are welcome to attend, and everyone attending is asked to wear a favorite hat. The event features stories, a treat, and fun activities.
There is no charge to attend, however advance registration is required and group size is limited.

The Alzheimer's Association will be holding their monthly Caregiver Support Groups on the following dates:
· Tuesday, April 15 at Howland United Methodist Church, 730 Howland-Wilson Rd. NE, Howland Township
· Monday, April 21 at 2:00 p.m. at Antonine Sister's Adult Day Center, 2691 North Lipkey Rd., North Jackson
· Wednesday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Conference Room 1, 1350 East Market St., Warren
· Thursday, April 24 at 1:30 p.m. at the Alzheimer's Association, Building B, Suite 301, 3695 Boardman-Canfield Rd., Canfield

ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION OFFERS FAMILIES IN TRANSITION PROGRAM
An educational and support program for persons experiencing early stage memory loss will be held on Monday, April 28. This group is for those in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease or other related dementia disorder and their family members.  A brief screening process is required prior to participation in this group.  All services relating to this program is provided free of charge. Brookfield High baseball and softball dinner

Brookfield High School boys baseball and girls softball are having a spaghetti dinner and auction on Friday, April 11. Form 4:30-8 p.m. at the Brookfield fire hall. Tickets will be available at the door. All you can eat spaghetti dinner made from Gia-Russa products Adults are $6, 12 and under are $4, five and under are free. Join a golf league

If you would like to join a Ladies Golf League on Thursday morning at Bedford Trails, call 330-534-4495. The league will start May 1 at 8:30 am. There is a lunch meeting Thursday April 17 at 12 pm at Bedford Trails. Call or come to the lunch and join us for a summer of golf and fun.
