Send your news to The Review Newspapers
The Review Newspapers are in our thirteenth year and reach over 100,000 readers each week. We distribute to more than 2,500 locations, serving all of Trumbull & Mahoning Counties, eastern Portage County, as well as parts of the Shenango Valley in Mercer County. We are proud to say, "Nobody covers more local news". All six zones of The Review Newspapers continue their emphasis on community news. We know the news with the biggest impact on your life comes from news that happens in your own back yard. We would like to give our readers still more vital information. We need your assistance in making The Review Newspapers the #1 local news source. Please send us your area news from all organizations, clubs, churches, schools, police, fire departments and governmental bodies from each community. Just as important are engagement, wedding announcements, sports scores, reports on family happenings and upcoming events. We welcome photos too….whether it's a new baby, a 50th anniversary or anything in between, your neighbors will enjoy seeing it. Remember, at the time of loss, The Review Newspapers print death notices (must come from a funeral home), free of charge. Complete obituaries are available for a slight fee. See your funeral director for details. Organizations and governmental departments are encouraged to select a contact person to submit material to The Review Newspapers on a regular basis. Gold City Quartet in Concert
Chestnut Ridge Church Of God with Pastor Rob McFarland is proud to present one of gospel music's greatest groups, Gold City Sunday, May 4, at 6 p.m. Over the past quarter of a century, Gold City has won every significant Southern Gospel music award-many more than once. Among their more than 60 accolades are numerous awards for Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Group of the Year, and Individual of the Year. Possessing some of the tightest four-part harmonies in the genre, Gold City's uniquely identifiable sound has led to an endless string of #1 radio songs. The group's earnest commitment to the promise of the Gospel and its reality in each member's life has endeared so many fans to their musical ministry. A new label, a new album, a new sound, new members, and powerful new momentum - it's quite a way to start a second 25 years for Gold City. "Gold City is just a group of young men who love the music they sing - but even more than that, they love the message in the music," said Daniel Riley. Don't miss this wonderful evening of worship, praise, and simple relaxation at Chestnut Ridge Church Of God, 7215 Chestnut Ridge Road, Hubbard, Ohio. The doors will open at 5 p.m. It promises to be an evening to remember. Seating is limited to 340. Tickets for the evening are $10 each. For more information please call the church: 330-534-0084.
