Textbook Weather Comes to St. Patrick School
WYTV Meteorologist Jim Loyboy brought textbook weather to St. Patrick students in Mrs. Scott's first grade and Mrs. Leonard's second grade classes. The students learned how weather happens and that wind is the key to all weather. The students spent time on Spring time weather and how it occurs. They also learned valuable safety tips for when bad weather arrives. They then watched a behind the scenes DVD on how a television works and the special effects that are used when giving the weather forecast.
