Roll-off Thursday Night Gadabouts Bell Wick
The Gadabouts had a roll-off April 24 between Molly Maid and Primerica. The winner was Primerica Our banquet is May 1 at the Gentry in Hubbard High average for the year was Marsha Beasley Most improved was Sally Erb plus 15. High actual set and game was Full Circle Florist. The league is looking for bowlers for next year .We are a fun league with no limit on hcp. Attention Hubbard Library members: would you like to explore Microsoft Publisher ? This computer program makes it easy to compose your own fundraising flyer or special event newsletter. Discover how to personalize your message with graphics and special text effects. Two sessions will be held May 17: the first session at 1:30-2:30 p.m. and a second session at 3:30-4:30 p.m. To sign up for one of the Beginner Publisher classes, bring your library card to the Hubbard Public Library circulation desk beginning May 3. There is a $5 registration fee.

Hubbard Football Mom's Present Meet The Coach
Hubbard Football Mom's would like to invite any who is interested in meeting Coach Hoffman and staff to join us on Monday May 7. This meeting will be held at Frankies Down town Café at 7 p.m. Coach Hoffman will be discussing the upcoming 2008 Hubbard High School Football season, and introducing new staff members. Following the meeting with Coach Hoffman, we will be holding our monthly meeting and discussing up coming events. Hope to see you all there! Come out and support your boys!

Hubbard American Legion Post 51 raises MIA/POW flag
On April 17, Hubbard American Legion Post 51 had the pleasure of raising its MIA/POW flag in accordance with Resolution 288, adopted at the 67th. National Convention of the American Legion. This flag is a physical symbol of the thousands of American POWs/MIAs still unaccounted for from World War ll, the Korean War, the Vietnam war, and other conflicts. The flag is currently hanging beneath Old Glory at Post 51 headquarters at 27 Hager Street in Hubbard. Post Commander Art Kourian invites all residents of Hubbard and adjoining areas to come and view both flags at the site.

The Hubbard Park and Recreation board will hold their regular monthly meeting May 8 at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Administration Building. All meetings are open to the public.

Hubbard Little Eagles football/cheerleading signups
The Hubbard Little Eagles will be holding football/cheerleading signups on Saturday May 17th from 10 - 2 at the City Building. Any child between the ages of 6 (as of 8-1) to no older than 12 (as of 8-1) is eligible. This will be the ONLY day to sign up for cheerleading, no exceptions will be made. Registration will be $70, this includes a mandatory fundraiser. Any child new to HLE needs to provide a copy of their birth certificate. Any questions call ED at (330)534-1046.

Missing Sign
Anyone having any information about, How, Why or Who, may have removed the Hall of Fame Banquet sign from the school property, please call the following numbers: 330-534-5246 or 330-534-5491. This sign was purchased by the Hall of Fame for $50. The sign was unscrewed from its frame, so this appears to be a deliberate act of removal.

G.E. Quarter Century Club
The G.E.
