This past holiday season, the Girard-Liberty Rotary Club held their annual Christmas party for the Fairhaven Workshop employees at the Holiday Inn Metroplex. Over 80 workshop employees and their family members were treated to a fine pasta dinner, dissert and refreshments, making this the most attended event ever held. The Rotary Club has hosted these very special guest for over 50 consecutive years, making it the oldest community service project that the club still holds annually. Besides the great dinner served by the Rotarians, the Rotary guests were entertained by a live band and a special visit from Santa and clowns. A special thank you to Handel's Ice Cream who donated the dessert, and to the Metroplex for making this event so successful again.
