The Girard High School Marching Band is planning a trip to Washington D.C. and Williamsburg April 25-27. They will be touring Washington D.C. and Colonial Williamsburg, and also performing at Busch Gardens. A member of the Girard Band Boosters is trying to set up a family bus to accompany the band on this trip. Niles girls basketball tournament tickets
Pre-sale tickets for the Niles girls basketball sectional tournament game Saturday, Feb. 9 at Austintown Fitch High School against Streetsboro at 5 p.m., will be on sale at the Niles Athletic Office the week of Feb. 4. Office hours are 8 a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily. Ticket prices are $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets at the door the day of the game are $6.
Palmyra U.M. Church fabulous dinner
The third Friday of every month, come to the Palmyra United Methodist Church for a fabulous dinner. They serve from 4:30-6:30 p.m. To go orders are available also. The cost is $7.50 for adults.
