|
The annual Pinewood Derby Race was held at First Christian Church of Niles for the Cub Scouts of Pack 143. Each boy made his own car out of a block of wood. They were able to race their cars at least 3 times down the track. There was a nice turnout with 22 boys and their families. Elizabeth Zagorski is currently working on literacy courses to become licensed in K-9 through the T.E.E.L. program at Notre Dame College. Miss Zagorski is working with Mrs. Jankowski's fifth graders and technology classes at St. Rose School.
