St. Rose Kindergarten visits Daffin's Candy Factory

St. Rose Kindergarten classes visited Daffin's Candy Factory on March 11, to see an assembly line in action. They loved watching the staff create Easter bunnies, eggs, crosses, planes, and dogs from chocolate. Machines stirred chocolate, moved chocolate from
one place to another and wrapped chocolate. The staff did the decorating of each item by hand. The children were given a candy bar to bring home with them. It was a great experience to prepare them to create a chocolate pretzel factory in their classrooms this April.
