It is a busy and very exciting week for the eighth grade students at St. Patrick school Hubbard. On Monday the students visited the JJC to learn how the Juvenile Justice system works. When they returned to school the students began working on tie dyed shirts. Tuesday brought a picnic for the students who cooked hamburgers and hot dogs and enjoyed all of the picnic extras that go with it. They had a surprise guest when Fr. Tim O'Neil came to join them along with their teacher Mrs. Hamrock. Later in the afternoon they will be learning CPR. All of these activities are leading up to the eighth grade trip to Chicago on Wednesday. The students will be in Chicago through Friday. CONTRIBUTED PHOTOS.
