May 12-18 -- "Children's Book Week" - We will quietly recognize this national observance.  Read your favorite childhood stories to your own children or volunteer your time at your local library and read to ours.
May 14 -- "Story Time with Mayor Melfi" -- 10:30 AM - Reads to children during Children's Book Week.

Adult Programs & Special Events:
May 7 -- "Book Discussion Group" -- 6:30 PM -This month's title is:  The Girl in the Green Glass Mirror by Elizabeth McGregor.  To join, contact facilitators Colleen Keller at ext. 22 or Norma Savany at ext. 11.
May 11 -- "Mother's Day" -- 100 Years!  Celebrate this special occasion 100 ways with mom that began in 1908 when Anna Jarvis held special events in Grafton, W VA and Philadelphia.  She handed out flowers at her Methodist church in honor of her late mother.  In 1914, Congress made Mother's Day an official day.
May 24 -- "Memorial Day Weekend" -- CLOSED
May 25 -- "Memorial Day Weekend" -- CLOSED
May 26 -- "Memorial Day" -- CLOSED - A day to honor your loved ones and our war-dead.
