St. Rose hosted a diocesan invitational this weekend with field events at Ursuline and running events at YSU with 10 schools participating. Track coach, Dave Sauline was very proud of each of the SRS athletes. Among the 7th grade winners were: Anna Parish winning first in the 100 M hurdles, 1st in 100 M dash and 2nd in long jump; Meghan Buckley with 6th in 100 M hurdles and 6th in high jump; Kayla Richey with 1st in 400 M dash; Rachel Siefert with 2nd in discus and 4th in shot put; Patrick Price with 1st in 1600 M run and 1st in 800 M run; Dan McClurkin with 3rd in 200 M dash; 8th grade winners include: Steph Sforza with 4th in 400 M dash and 3rd in 800 meter run; Taylor Brentin with 5th in 400 M dash and 4th in 800 meter run; Hannah Rooney with 5th in 200 M hurdles and 5th in discus and 6th in long jump; Gabriellla Cantelmo with 6th in 800 M run; Rachel Minnoti with 2nd in 200 M dash and 2nd in long jump.
