Warren Junior Women's League/GFWC members celebrated Arbor Day at the H.C. Mines Intermediate School with the Fourth grade Jr. Master Gardens Club. Creekside Gardens on North River Rd. generously donated a Flowering Bradford Pear tree for the students to plant. Bob Meinke, owner of Creekside Gardens took time to allow the students to actively participate in the planting and explained the correct way to take car of the tree. The students all got to either help dig the hole, break up the soil, place mulch around the tree and how to properly water their new tree. WJWL/GFWC Conservation committee organized this celebration.
