Kent Trumbull Theatre Summer Stock Season
The Kent Trumbull Theatre is proud to present the upcoming auditions for the 31st season of plays. The are offering a variety of shows for young people in the Summer Stock 2008 season. Auditions for all three shows will take place on April 24 from 7-9 p.m. and April 26 from 10 a.m.-noon. The first show will be "The Emperor's New Clothes". Next is "The Nightingale" Finally "Seussical the Musical". Also they will have acting classes in two ages ranges 7-11 and 12-16. The participation fee for the summer is only $40. Camelot Center Nite at the Races
The Camelot Center Therapeutic Riding Program is holding its annual Night at the Races on Saturday, April 22. It will be held at the Ali Babba Grotto at 760 Perkins Jones Rd. NE, which is just off Larchmont/Perkins Jones exit of the Rt. 5/82 bypass. Doors open at 6 p.m. with post time at 7 p.m. A buffet dinner, coffee, tea, soft drinks and beer is included in the admission price. Please bring your own liquor/wine. Admission only is $10, a horse sponsorship is $10, 2 tickets and 1 horse sponsorship is $25 and 1 ticket and 1 horse sponsorship is $15. Admission only is available at the door, horse sponsorships must be received by April 22. For more information or to sponsor a horse, please call 330-889-0036. Mayor Michael O'Brien was the keynote speaker for the spring edition of "Good Morning Warren!" held at the Grand Pavillion on Friday, April 18th. He presented his annual "State of the City" address, providing updates on economic development, finances, infrastructure and all that is new and happening in Warren. SESCA monthly meeting
Warren's South East Side Community Association (SESCA) will hold its monthly meeting April 24 at 5 pm in White Hall located at the corner of Milton St and Willard Ave. Guest speaker for the evening will be Michael Keys, Director of Warren City's Community Development Program. Everyone who wishes to attend is welcome, especially those residing in Warren's South East side 4th and 5th Wards.
