Lynn "Jr." Battison Named 2007 Employee of the Year for Shepherd of the Valley

John F. Kennedy Catholic High School is happy to announce the success of their 18^th Annual "Just For Kicks" Live and Silent Benefit Auction conducted by Basingers Auction Service, Ltd., held on Saturday April 12, 2008.  This year the JFK community raised over $175,000 in support of their educational programs.  Dinner with Bishop George V. Murry, S.J., Ph.D., golf with Congressman Tim Ryan and tickets to the Kelly Pavlik Middleweight Championship boxing match in Atlantic City helped to inspire our most successful auction to date.

The Antique Tractor Club of Trumbull County will be having their annual Spring Gas-Up on April 26, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., at Tractor Supply on Elm Road in Warren.
Admission to the Spring Gas-Up is free. There will be a large display of antique tractors and equipment at the show along with fun and games for the kids. Food will also be available.

The First Christian Church of Girard, 140 E. Broadway, is holding a Trash and Treasure Sale Friday, May 2 and Saturday May 3 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Hundreds items, including clothes, linens, books, home décor, records, tapes and household items are priced to sell. A light lunch featuring vegetable soup, hot dogs, snacks, and a dessert is also available.
