League of Women Voters of Trumbull County Meeting

The League of Women Voters of Trumbull County will be holding their 68th Annual Meeting on Saturday, May 17, at the Cafe 422 at 10 a.m. The speaker for the annual meeting will be the Honorable Mary Jane Trapp, Judge with the 11th District Court of Appeals.
Make a reservation by sending your check for $15 for the cost of the brunch, made payable to LWVTC by mail to LWVTC Annual Meeting, P.O. Box 161, Fowler, Ohio 44418 or call your reservation to 330-367-4886. Reservations are due by Saturday, May 10. Anyone interested in joining the League, please attend.

First Annual Girl Scout Blood Drive

Hello, my name is Alexis Williams and I am a Junior at Howland High School this year and will be graduating in 2009. Also, I am a Senior Girl Scout from Troop 598. Since I am a Senior Girl Scout, I am working on my Gold Award, which is the highest achievement a Girl Scout can receive. For my Gold Award Project I chose to host a 1st Annual Girl Scout blood drive, which will be at St. Paul's church, in Warren, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 10.
