Video Athletic League Debuts at
Eastwood
Think you're the toughest gamer in the valley? Then get your game-face on for Madden 2009 at the Eastwood Mall in Niles, OH. It will be the inaugural event for the Video Athletic League, a new competitive concept that will tour the nation this summer, beginning at Eastwood Mall. The video mayhem kicks off at 8 AM, Saturday, June 20 at Center Court. Competitors get to test their skills against other Madden football fanatics to snag the top prize of $1,500. Other prizes include a 36 inch plasma TV, and a $200 Eastwood Mall gift card.
The entry fee is $25 per participant. Registration is first-come, first-serve to the first 868 players. Registration cards are available at GameStop, Best Buy, f-y-e, Buffalo Wild Wings or the Eastwood Mall Customer Service Center.
For those gamers hungry for more, a two-day tournament will be coming to the Eastwood Expo Center July 25-26, featuring the game Call of Duty 4.
