Summer Youth and Recreation Program
The Howland Township Summer Youth Sport and Recreation Program camps scheduled for the week of July 6-10 from 9 a.m.-noon are as follows:
Tennis: Howland High School ages 10-13.
Golf: Howland Twp. Park ages 6-9
Registration forms have been distributed to the Howland Schools. Forms are available at the Howland Township Administration building.
The registration fee is $20/Residents and $35 Non-Residents. Checks are to be made payable to "Summer Youth Sport and Rec Program" and mailed or dropped off at the above address. For additional information please call 330-856-2340.

Summertime is here, time for summer fun. What better way to celebrate than with the great American pastime of baseball! While enjoying yourself on a family day, company or youth group outing, or church get together, you will be aiding those less fortunate in your community.

The second annual Dustin Keryan Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $1000.00 was awarded May 13 at the senior awards night to Steven Wittkugle.  Steven plans to study forensic science at Youngstown State University this fall.  A self-taught musician, Steven participated in soccer while working part time during high school.  Congratulations Steven!!
