Pediatric
neurosurgeon joins Akron Children's

Pediatric neurosurgeon Roger Hudgins, MD, joins the medical staff at Akron Children's Hospital as division director of Neurosurgery and clinical director of the Neuroscience Center.
Dr. Hudgins comes to Akron Children's from Atlanta, where he served as chief medical officer for neurosciences and craniofacial surgery at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. He also was the chief of pediatric neurosurgery and a clinical professor in neurosurgery at Emory University School of Medicine.

AUSTINTOWN FRIENDS MEETING

Local woman celebrated 95th birthday

Dorothy Fizet,Mr. Bertram de Souza, editorial writer for The Youngstown Vindicator and Doug Wilcox led the Austintown Friends of the Library meeting in January. Fizet and Wilcox are leaders for the Friends group and will be hosting Christopher Barzak at the February 18 meeting. Barzak is a local writer and YSU instructor.
