Police and Fire Retirees of Ohio District 2 meeting

The next regular meeting of The Police and Fire Retirees of Ohio, District 2-Chapter 10 (Mahoning and Columbiana Counties) will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008, at the Brandywine Clubhouse, 3390 Flo-Lor Drive, Youngstown, at 7 p.m.  Dawn Marie Dragos, a Walgreen Pharmacist, will be the guest speaker. All retirees and DROP participants of the Ohio Police and Fire Disability and Pension Fund living in Mahoning and Columbiana Counties along with their spouses or survivors are welcomed at the meeting.  For more information, please contact Rich Holzschuh at 330-743-5502.

Fibromyalgia support group

The Mahoning Valley Fibromyalgia Support Group will meet Wednesday, March 19 from 7-8:30 p.m.  Dr. Patrick Ensminger, a Warren chiropractor, will speak on the benefits of chiropractic services to those with Fibromyalgia.
The meeting will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Dr in Boardman. Anyone with an interest in Fibromyalgia is welcome to attend and additional Information can be obtained by calling

Postpartum Support Group new meeting place

Local Postpartum Support Group has found a new meeting place! Greg Cvetkovic, Executive Director of D&E Counseling, has agreed to donate the use of their conference room for group meetings. The meetings will be held the first and third Thursdays of every month at 6:30 p.m, starting March 20. D&E Counseling is located at 142 Javit Court in Austintown. Memory loss support

An educational and support program for persons experiencing early stage memory loss will be held Monday, March 24. This group is for those in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease or other related dementia disorder and their family members.

Warren Junior Military Band meeting

The Alumni of the Warren Junior Military Band will hold their next board meeting for the newly formed Warren Junior Military Band Alumni Association on Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m. at the Niles Masonic Center, 22 W. Wednesday, March 12 at 1:30 p.m. at the Easter Seals Day Center, 721 Boardman-Poland Rd., Boardman.
Monday, March 17 at 2:00 p.m. at Antonine Sister's Adult Day Center, 2691 North Lipkey Rd., North Jackson.
Wednesday, March 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Conference Room 1, 1350 East Market St., Warren.
Thursday, March 27 at 1:30 p.m. at the Alzheimer's Association, Building B, Suite 301, 3695 Boardman-Canfield Rd., Canfield.
