Ursuline High School baseball hitting clinic
The Ursuline High School Baseball team will sponsor a baseball hitting clinic on Saturday, march 29 from noon-2 p.m. in the Ursuline gymnasium. The clinic is free-of-charge and open to all boys currently in grades 4,5,6,7 and 8. Participants need to bring a bat and glove. The clinic will be conducted by State Championship Coach Sean Durkin and members of the Ursuline baseball team. Reservations are required and may be made by emailing your name, grade and school to ursulineevents@yahoo.com or by calling the school office at 330-744-4563, ext. 100.

Mahoning County, Ohio - The 2008 "Celebration of Scouting" Breakfast was a great success this year bringing in over $23,000 surpassing the Friends of Scouting Committee goal of $20,000. This was the kickoff effort for the 2008 Freinds of Scouting campaign in the Mahoning County area. This years breakfast, sponsored by Aqua Ohio and Compco Industries, welcomed 90 guests and honored Helen Stambaugh with the Distinguished Scouter Award. Mrs. Stambaugh was thanked for her many years of support of the Boy Scouts of America and continued support of scouting in Mahoning County. Keynote speaker, Judge Theresa Dellick spoke on how the Boy Scout program is a positive influence on the youth in our area. Greater Western Reserve Council Executive, Gary Erlinger, explained the programs of the Boy Scouts of America and how one can be apart of this great pro

gram and continue its efforts in serving the youth and families of our area.
