Gardens master planning

Keith Kaiser, Horticulture Director at Mill Creek Metroparks, and David Imbrogno, Executive Director for Mill Creek Metroparks , unveil the Master Plan for Fellows Riverside Gardens. Although the gardens change every year, the 2008 plan incorporates more land and upgrades in horticulture, pedestrian and vehicle travel, and increased parking areas. Canfield AARP #3104

Canfield #3104 will meet on Monday, April 7at 1PM at the Canfield Presbyterian Church. Blood pressure will be taken from noon until the meeting. Program will be given by Karen Hicks, Nurse Educator, Ohio Northeast Health System on Diabetes. Three tours: "The King and I" at Carousel on April 12 is filled, Departure will be at l0:30 a.m. Names are being accepted for the waiting list. Reservations are available for the "Daniel O'Donnell" show on June 7 in Cleveland. A two day trip to the Greenbrier Resort in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia on June 25-26 is being offered. Free Citizenship Classes

The English Center, in collaboration with the Youngstown City Schools ABLE program, will be offering free US Citizenship preparation classes beginning April 8-June 10.  The classes will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at The English Center located in St. Anthony's School, 1125 Turin Avenue in Youngstown.
These classes are designed to help potential citizens prepare for the new citizenship test as well as the current examination.  American history, US government and the US political system will be studied.  Also included will be a review of the N-400 naturalization application.

God's Tabernacle of Faith having a celebration of praise

God's Tabernacle of Faith, Healing and Deliverance will be having a celebration of praise at their new location. Various Pastors, Ministers and churches are expected to attend in the celebration each night. Services will begin Friday March 28-Sunday March 30 at
