History on Tap
On Saturday, July 18th, the Young Leaders Advisory Board of the Mahoning Valley Historical Society will sponsor the third annual History on Tap: "Hot Nights, Cool Delights" which will be a delightful evening of food, live music by the Second Avenue Band and a sampling of art and culture of the Valley.
There will be a silent auction with many unique items, and celebrity bartenders will add to the fun.
Tickets are $25 per person; $40 includes a one year membership to the Historical Society, and can be purchased online at www.mahoninghistory.org, at the Historical Society or reserved by phone.

"Pioneer Days" Summer Camp
Kids will learn about the lives of the early pioneers by playing old-fashioned games and making special pioneer crafts at the Mahoning Valley Historical Society's "Pioneer Days" Summer Camp. Held at the beautiful Arms Family Museum of Local History, 648 Wick Avenue in Youngstown, the summer camp is for ages 6-12 and will be Tuesday July 14th through Friday July 17th, from 9:30 to 12:30 each day.
