St. Lucy Lenten Fish Dinners
As the season of Lent continues, St. Lucy's Church in Campbell reached the halfway point of their series of Fish Dinners. They will continue every Friday from Feb. 29 until March 14. The dinners are $8 for adults, $7.50 for seniors, and $4 for children under 12. Takeout orders are available. The menu will consist of Cod fish; baked or fried, french fries and choice of macaroni and cheese or halushki, coleslaw, bread, punch or coffee and a dessert. Everyone is welcome.

Fibromyalgia support group
The Mahoning Valley Fibromyalgia Support Group will meet Wednesday, March 19 from 7-8:30 p.m. Dr. Patrick Ensminger, a Warren chiropractor, will speak on the benefits of chiropractic services to those with Fibromyalgia. The meeting will be held at Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Dr in Boardman. The Yo-Mah-O Chapter meeting
The Yo-Mah-O Chapter of IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals) will be having its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at 5:45 pm at The Blue Wolfe Banquet Center (formerly Lockwood House) in Boardman. The speak for the evening will be Dr. Betty Jo Licata, Dean of the Williamson College of Business at Youngstown State University. Boardman Center Middle School conducted for all fifth and sixth grade students a "JA in a Day" program in cooperation with Junior Achievement. All Social Studies classes were involved in this partnership and volunteers spent the morning making a connection from the business world to the classroom. "We appreciate their commitment to our school and their help in making this program educational and relevant" Brad Calhoun, Social Studies Department Coordinator. Calhoun continues "This program is always a huge success in every way, primarily due to the curriculum, creativity, and the generous commitment of time to help our students prepare for the future."

Greater Western Reserve Council Wood Badge Breakfast
The Greater Western Council, Boys Scouts of America is hosting their annual Wood Badge Breakfast on Saturday, March 8 at Camp Stambaugh, 3712 Leffinwell Rd. in Canfield. The breakfast will run from 7:30-11 a.m. The program consists of registration and fellowship, a hearty scouting breakfast, an introduction of the Greater Western Reserve Council 2008 Wood Badge course, a Chinese auction, a live auction of scouting memorabilia, and featured speaker, Mr. Jim Rapone of Warren.
