Mahoning County D.A.R. holds meeting

The Mahoning Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution held a noon luncheon on March 10 at the A La Carte in Canfield.
Regent Sarah Reynolds welcomed members and guests. Our speaker, Ellen Ford, is from Humility of Mary Health Partners. She is a Community health educator and planner. Ellen is also a certified Yoga instructor. She spoke of the health benefits of Yoga. The group enjoyed her leading us in exercise.
The meetings are held the second Monday of the month. With exception of January, July and August. For more information and reservations call Joyce Haydu at 330-482-5986.

Exploration into the Prayer Mystery Seminar

The Prayer Shawl Ministry of Unity Church Centre cordially invites all interested people to attend the "Exploration into the Prayer Mystery" Seminar on Saturday, April 5 from 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Unity Church Centre in Girard.
The seminar will explore several aspects of the Shawl Ministry from: How to organize a Shawl Ministry, How to teach knitting techniques. Enhancing member's spiritual journeys through knitting.
