Advanced Planning Seminar
Among life's most important, difficult conversations are those about end-of-life and healthcare wishes.
Senior Independence, the home and community based services division of Ohio Presbyterian Retirement Services (OPRS), is offering education sessions as a community service to help people communicate end of life and healthcare wishes effectively.
These informational sessions are open to all who are interested, but primarily focus on older adults and their families. The sessions offer tips and ideas on how to broach the subject with loved ones; clarify what documents are used and what the many terms used in healthcare mean. Participants receive booklets containing many of the documents needed in making advanced plans.
