Clean Up Litter Day
On April 19 Boardman Township is hosting a Clean Up Litter Day with a rain date scheduled for Saturday, April 26. This event is scheduled to take advantage of Earth Day events that are taking place nationally and internationally that focus on making the Earth a better and safer place to live. Litter Clean Up Volunteers should show up at 9 a.m. on April 19 at Boardman Park in the parking lot behind the Lariccia Family Bocce Pavilion where they will be assigned an area that needs attention. Gloves, t-shirts, vests, and trash bags will be provided.

Cinderella in Columbiana

C&G to hold ribbon cutting celebrating spring season
C & G Carts, Signs and Graphics will kick off the spring season with a ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate its expanded operations. The event will take place on Friday April 11, beginning at 2 p.m. Owners Dennis and Denise Christenson have expanded operations at their North Lima/Boardman location to include a newly remodeled showroom, trailer sales, a 20 fleet golf cart rental service, and an extensive used golf cart sale lot. Grand opening events will take place throughout the weekend including: inflatable bounce for the kids, refreshments and giveaways. C&G will also unveil the new, state-of-the-art EZGO RXV Golf Cart.
