Hollywood Memorabilia Expo at Eastwood Mall
On June 6,7,8 at the Eastwood Expo Center there will be a "Hollywood Memorabilia Expo" featuring special guest actors, vendors, entertainment and casting calls for new movies. YWCA to host Women's Leadership Conference
The YWCA of Youngstown will host its first Women's Leadership Conference May 9 at the Youngstown Country Club, 1402 Country Club Dr. in Youngstown from 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
The conference will educate women on how to advance in their careers, strategic life planning-how to set to long term goals, job search and resume writing.
The entry fee is $20 and will include breakfast and lunch. Full-time students with valid identification cards will be admitted for $5. Scholarships are available.
The conference will also feature resource tables, networking opportunities, Basket Raffles and door prizes.

His Music Connection Concert

Hooked On Fishing: An
Angler's Escape
Mill Creek MetroParks will hold "Hooked on Fishing: An Angler's Escape" at Yellow Creek park in Struthers on Saturday, May 17 from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The fish are back at Yellow Creek parka and the MetroParks Police need children to bring their favorite pole and bait to help catch them! On Friday May 9 come learn about stars and planets at Boardman Township Park. Boardman Park along with help from the Youngstown Astronomy Association is having an event named Planets in the Park at 9 p.m. at the Masters Pavilion parking lot.
