Wound care advantage
program being finalized

Alliance Community Hospital is preparing for the grand opening of its Wound Care Advantage™ program on the ACH campus in April.
The official site opening of the new facility, located at 120 East State Street (adjacent to the main hospital), will be held prior to a public/media grand opening. Invitations for both will be issued in the near future.
The ACH WCA will open as an outpatient clinic treating non-healing wounds by offering a multidisciplinary treatment approach that includes hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT). Wound Care refers to treatment of chronic or non-healing wounds that can be associated with infection, diabetes, radiation, arterial or venous disease and post surgical sites.
Dr. Paul Hudzik is the Medical Director of ACH WCA. Surgeon Daniel Mitchell, M.D. and podiatrist Leslie Niehaus, D.P.M. will also support the program.
Dr. Hudzik has specialized training in Wound Care techniques and he and his staff are busy putting the finishing touches on this state-of-the-art facility, which is the first of its kind in Alliance.
The team consists of Drs. Hudzik, Mitchell and Niehaus; Program Director Melissa Loudon, RM, CT, MR; Wound Care Coordinator Cindy Ceroky, RN, BSN, WCC; Leslie Cox, LPN, WCC; Regina Lenzy, RRT and Office Coordinator Shawna Weber.
Ceroky and Cox recently received nursing board certification in Wound Care treatment and Lenzy is currently finalizing her board certification as an HBOT technician. Additionally, all of the staff members are now completing specialized training in HBOT treatment.
Look for more information on the grand opening of this technologically-advanced facility in the next few weeks.
