Roast beef dinner
The United Methodist Church in Newton Falls will be having a roast beef dinner on Saturday May 17 from 4-7 p.m. with proceeds going to the Roof Fund. Adults cost is $8.50, children 5-12 $4 children 5 and under are free.

Survivors of Suicide
Awareness Walk in Trumbull
There will be a Survivors of Suicide Awareness walk at the Trumbull County Courthouse Gazebo on Saturday May 17 from 2-4 p.m. The event is sponsored by "Loving Outreach to Survivors of Suicide, Help Hotline Crisis Center, Survivors of Suicide. National Volunteer week
Mobile Meals showed their appreciation to their volunteers during National Volunteer Week, April 27-May 3.
During the week, lunch and a small gift were given to the 600 plus volunteers.
Volunteers deliver meals five days a week with week-end meals, if needed, delivered on Friday.
Mobile Meals could not continue to provide home-delivered meals without the dedicated volunteers to ensure that "no one goes hungry in our community". We are currently in dire need of volunteers. Please call the MM office at 330-394-2538 for more information. Please help us to help others.

There will be an all you can eat breakfast at the American Legion Post 737 Saturday, May 10 8 a.m.-noon. The cost is $5.50 and is sponsored by Unit 737.

American
Legion breakfast
Hotcakes, sausage, eggs, biscuits, coffee, tea and juice will be served at the Deerfield American Legion, 1517 St. Rt. 14 in Deerfield, every third Saturday of the month from 8 a.m.-noon.
The cost is $5 per person and $3 per child ages 3-10 years old.
The money raised will benefit the American Legion Scholarship Fund.
